Ms Stephanie Black
Stephanie Black is a statistician at the MRC Unit for Lifelong
Health and Ageing.
Stephanie graduated in Mathematics and worked in industry as a
computer programmer, before taking a PGCE and teaching secondary
school Mathematics. In 1997 she graduated with an MSc in Applied
Statistics. She worked at INPUT, a chronic pain management unit at
St. Thomas's hospital, on RIPPLE, a peer-led sex education
programme at University College London, and on a UKPICOS project
assessing and optimising mortality prediction models in the United
Kingdom at the Intensive Care National Audit and Research Centre.
Stephanie joined the MRC National Survey of Health and Development
in February 2004. She is interested in investigating methods for
the analysis of longitudinal data.
