LHA groups
The LHA Data Service
Group is responsible for effective and secure data and
information services.
The LHA Data Collection
Group is responsible for co-ordinating the new clinic data
collection and clinically relevant feedback, including responding
to enquiries from study members.
The LHA Statistical Methods Group is
responsible for developing novel ways of applying longitudinal
methods of analysis to NSHD and other life course studies land
advising the LHA team and its collaborators on their use.
The NSHD Executive Team is responsible for
proposals, for data access in consultation where appropriate, with
the NSHD Samples Advisory Group and the specialist project
management groups.
The senior scientific staff and the
operational heads of the Data Services Group and the Data
Collection Group are members of the Executive Team.
Project Management
Groups, consisting of expert collaborators and LHA team members
are set up as required to be responsible for the collection of
specialist data and to maximise the scientific potential of these
data. Currently there are Project Management Groups for
Bone and Muscle Ageing, Cardiac and Vascular Ageing, and Activity and
Diet.
